Nordo's Numbers: Week 9

Joshua Dobbs led the Minnesota Vikings on his first career game-winning drive, capping off an improbable 31-28 comeback over the Atlanta Falcons. The Vikings were missing Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, and Christian Darrisaw before the game, and they lost Jaren Hall, K.J. Osborn, and Cam Akers during it. Still, they prevailed in Atlanta and enter their Week 9 matchup against the New Orleans Saints 5-4 with an opportunity to make the playoffs.

The Vikings defense created two turnovers on two plays in the third quarter. Akayleb Evans forced a Bijan Robinson fumble, and Josh Metellus recovered it.

Total career starts between Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, and Christian Darrisaw – all of whom were missing from the Vikings offense in Atlanta. Cousins has 145 of those starts, 88 in Minnesota. Jefferson has made 53; Darrisaw has made 31.
