The Minnesota Vikings escaped the desert with a 3-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. It was the first time since 1971 that the Vikings went scoreless through three quarters, but legions of purple-laden fans left Allegiant Stadium to celebrate a purple win on the strip.

Here are five numbers that explain Minnesota’s perplexing win:

2

Justin Jefferson got injured after 2 completions for 27 yards following his return from a Week 5 hamstring injury.

1971

You have to go back to 1971 to find the last time the Vikings went scoreless through 3 quarters. The Vikings beat the Packers 3-0 that year. The last NFL game to end 3-0 was in 2007 when the Steelers beat the Dolphins.

1993

The last time the Vikings won a game without a touchdown was September 26, 1993, against the Packers (won 15-13 with five field goals).

30

The Vikings recorded only their second shoutout in the last 30 years.

121:03

The Vikings haven’t allowed a touchdown in the last 121:03 of football they’ve played.
