Pat McAfee Reacts To Aaron Rodgers' Wishlist

There was a time when Aaron Rodgers said he wouldn’t hold anyone hostage. We are now two days into the tampering period with no announcement and we’ve now received a report that Rodgers has a wish list of players he’d like the Jets to acquire. I’m not sure if that qualifies as holding hostage, but it’s at the very least using your leverage.

As every blue checkmark and talking head worked their way through Dianna Russini’s tweet this morning, there was only one source that really matters to most Packers fans. The Pat McAfee show. McAfee and his boys have been the only non-sensational part of this entire Aaron Rodgers drama. Here are their thoughts on the wishlist. As always they bring some normal conversation to a topic everyone else is blowing up.

McAfee and the boys are spot on here. Additionally, this is the exact same thing that Tom Brady wanted. No one vilified him for wanting to end his Hall of Fame career with players he believed in. The double standard for Aaron Rodgers is on full display here.

Rodgers is scheduled to appear on the McAfee show tomorrow. Will we get an announcement from him? It’s hard to say, but knowing that Rodgers likes to speak for himself it would be the perfect opportunity to officially tell everyone that he’s joining his former teammate and wish list member, Allen Lazard, in New York.
