NBA (1 Unit) Atlanta Hawks/Chicago Bulls Over 223 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 7:00 PM CT on NBCS-Chicago
The Bulls are not as good as they looked last night, especially not on defense. They got lucky with one of the best three-point shooting teams in the league short-circuiting from long range. I think they’re in for much uglier defense tonight, especially on this back-to-back spot with travel included. Not only is Chicago one of the best over teams in the league, they’re also 8-4 to the over on no rest, with one of the best plus/minus marks to the total.
And Atlanta is also one of the best over teams in the league, as these teams are actually second and third for best record to the over this season. The Hawks are going to want to push tempo on that tired Chicago defense as they’ve shown they’ll do this season, owning the highest plus/minus to the total when holding a rest advantage. But the Atlanta defense is bad no matter the situation, so if the Bulls shooters stay hot we’ll see another game like the previous meetings that went for 231 and 262 points.

I’ll probably be looking to fade the A’s at every opportunity this season, especially when I can get plus money for doing it. Oakland snuck one out yesterday, but that’s Sundays in Major League Baseball for you, the weirdest stuff happens pretty consistently. They should get back to their regular beatings today, with a real lineup in town to face the fifth starter in their rotation. Joe Boyle was a September call-up for the A’s last year, and if you’re the fifth starter for Oakland you probably shouldn’t be in the majors. Boston will likely have a down year compared to the AL East, but this is a big mismatch and I love getting the plus-juice return.
