There’s a reason this game has been relegated to NBA TV instead of TNT: it’s going to be ugly. The whole series has been gross, with neither team touching triple digits on the scoreboard yet. The Cavaliers have held a masterclass on shutting down Orlando though, forcing a team with no perimeter offense to become perimeter-oriented.
Now with Jalen Suggs injured, I just don’t see how that already light-scoring backcourt manages much production, regardless of whether they’re returning home. This should be another rock fight, and outputs of 83 and 86 points from the Magic so far are not going to magically turn into triple digits.

Fine, I give up trying to back one of the best first quarter teams the NBA has ever seen. Congratulations Lakers, you’ve got me in a blender, so my only choice is to back you here. The situational spot of a team returning home down 0-2 is a little overhyped, but I’m buying into it with this Lakers squad. They might never beat the Nuggets because they’re all Nikola Jokic’s minions, but they have held double digit leads in the past 3 meetings. Backing them to lead after a quarter seems like the perfect bet for a team that can’t seem to close.

The juice is worth the squeeze on this in my mind. Every year we hear all about quarterbacks who are going in the first round without a doubt, and every year we watch one or more of those guys sit in the green room while they slide down the board. I’m not a believer that more than 3 quarterbacks in this class are worthy of a first round pick, and I can easily see some surprising slides from names everyone is talking about. This prop has a strong trend to the under since draft betting became a thing, and I’ll take a shot here given the juicy return.
