Zone Coverage will not publish anything new today, Friday, January 23, 2026, in solidarity with Minnesotans across the state who are closing schools and businesses in peaceful protest of ICE’s abhorrent tactics in our communities.
This was not a decision we made lightly. Zone Coverage is based in Minnesota, and we have seen firsthand the fear and harm being inflicted on our neighbors, friends, and families. While we know opinions differ, we ask for understanding and respect for the humanity of those affected.
At Zone Coverage, one of the reasons we value sports is that it is a fantastic tool for building community. Our mission is to expand and deepen that community, and that includes immigrants and people of color, the very communities that are being targeted now. In recognition of that reality, we invite you to join in this moment of solidarity, and we look forward to talking sports with you again very soon.
