5/20 PREGAME NOTES: Game Postponed, Straight Doubleheader Tomorrow (Hughes, Mejia)

With rain steadily coming down on Target Field and expected to last all day, the Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals game has been postponed until tomorrow.

It will be a straight doubleheader starting at 1:10 pm. The second game will start 30 minutes after the first game. Phil Hughes will start Game 1, and Adalberto Mejia will start Game 2.

If it seems like the Twins have had a lot of doubleheaders scheduled this year, especially coming off of one on Thursday, it’s because they do:
