With Game Nearing, Case Keenum Named Starting Quarterback

The Minnesota Vikings finished their second practice in London, this time at the home of the London Irish, a local Rugby Union team. This facility seems much more well-equipped to handle a full practice.

Mike Zimmer named Case Keenum the starter this week, though Teddy Bridgewater took a few snaps in practice with the team and worked off to the side with all the other quarterbacks during special team drills. Sam Bradford was once again absent from practice even though he made the trip from Minneapolis to London.

Nick Easton and Riley Reiff both practiced with the first team offensive line, and while Reiff has been fully cleared to start, Easton’s participation is still not completely certain.

Anthony Harris took all the first-team snaps at safety, which means he’ll likely start in place of the suspended Andrew Sendejo.
