Minnesota Lynx Announce Training Camp Roster

The Minnesota Lynx training camp roster is set.

The defending WNBA champions announced Tuesday morning they have finalized their 18-player roster ahead of training camp later this month.

After a busy offseason, the Lynx will have a decent number of new faces join the team when camp commences. Eight players on the roster will return from last season’s championship team, most importantly the starting five of Lindsay Whalen, Seimone Augustus, Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles and Seimone Augustus.

That means 10 players will enter training camp trying to fight for a spot with Minnesota for the first time. Earlier this offseason, the Lynx announced the additions of Lynetta Kizer, Endy Miyem, Breanna Richardson, Danielle Robinson and Tanisha Wright. In last week’s WNBA Draft, Minnesota selected former Golden Gopher Carlie Wagner and traded for Jill Barta.

On Tuesday, the Lynx announced a few more signings to round out the 18-player training camp squad. Those signings include forward G’mrice Davis, center Vionise Pierre-Louis and forward Camille Zimmerman, all who went undrafted last week.

Training camp for the Lynx will kick off at the end of April, with the 2018 season beginning on May 20 against the Los Angeles Sparks at Target Center.
