Flames Claim Wild Forward Chris Stewart off Waivers

The Calgary Flames have claimed Minnesota Wild forward Chris Stewart off waivers.

Stewart, 30, was placed on waivers Sunday by Minnesota after being scratched in 10 of the past 15 games. In 47 games this season, Stewart had scored nine goals and four assists.

The Toronto, Ont. native was signed by Minnesota on July 1, 2016 to a two-year deal. He will be an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.
