NFL (1 Unit) Detroit Lions/Cleveland Browns Under 42.5 (-110): 12:00 PM CT on FOX

I can’t believe this number hasn’t crashed into the 30’s yet given the news, weather, and trends impacting the game.

Tim Boyle, the pride of Eastern Kentucky, is set to make his first NFL start for the Detroit Lions here. That can’t help an already weak Lions offense, and facing an improving Cleveland defense becomes a tough task. Wind and rain during this game will only make scoring that much tougher for both teams.

Detroit is already on a 6-1 run to the under including their past 4 on the road. And the Browns have struggled to score at home, averaging just 10.3 PPG the past 3 in Cleveland. With a six-touchdown cushion here, I’m seeing a dead under game.

NFL (1 Unit) Cincinnati Bengals -1 @ Las Vegas Raiders (-110): 3:05 PM CT on CBS

This one really comes down to the Raiders falling apart more than anything else. The Raiders have had the worst 2 months stretch of any professional sports team in this country when it comes to off-the-field distractions, and it looks like it has finally caught up with this them. The Bengals on the other hand are a good team that is coming off of 2 very disappointing games against the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets. Look for Joe Burrow to get back on track here against a struggling Vegas defense.

NFL (1 Unit) Indianapolis Colts +7.5 @ Buffalo Bills (-110): 12 PM CT on CBS

I’m usually not a big fan of hammering road teams, but this week I’m making a little exception. Outside of Carson Wentz throwing some of the dumbest interceptions I’ve seen in my entire life, this Colts team is actually pretty good. Darius Leonard has anchored this defense and as long as he’s good to go the Colts should be as well. Also, of the most underrated things so far this NFL season is Indianapolis’ run game led by Jonathan Taylor. More than a touchdown just seems like a lot in a game that I could actually see the Colts upsetting the Bills outright in.

NFL (0.5 Units) Dallas Cowboys (+120) ML @ Kansas City Chiefs: 3:25 PM CT on Fox

I really don’t have any justification for this game other than I think the Cowboys are just better than the Chiefs. Dallas has shown the ability to win on the road and Micah Parsons continues to be a spark plug for Dan Quinn’s revamped defense. We’ve seen the Chiefs have a bit of a roller-coaster season, but I’m still only doing a half unit here because betting against Patrick Mahomes isn’t super fun. Amari Cooper is also out for this one but with the depth of Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, Cedrick Wilson, and Noah Brown the Cowboys should be just fine through the air. Pair that with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard, and it’s no surprise this team is atop the NFC.

Degenerates

No degenerates today.

Tiny Nick is 452-350 ATS (+84.6 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.
