TB12 is starting for the Lions today! No not that TB12. Tim Boyle will be behind center for Detroit after Jared Goff was unable to make it through concussion protocol. Atlanta should have no problem pulling away early in this one against a Lions team that is absolutely decimated by COVID on top of being one of the worst teams in football. Atlanta is also at home, so a pick ‘em spot is too good to pass up.
Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals 12 PM CT
Who’s starting at quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens? No seriously, I have no clue. The Bengals teased down to a half-point favorite is one of my favorite anchors of the day which means let’s go Joe Mixon. No team has had to deal with more than the Baltimore Ravens this year so 2 quarterbacks being out should be enough for the Bengals to squeak out a home victory.
Tampa Bay Bucs -3 @ Carolina Panthers 12 PM CT
In the last 40 years, only once has a team been a double-digit favorite the week after being shut out. That team was Tom Brady’s 2004 New England Patriots. To no one’s surprise, Brady covered that spread, and I’m gonna roll with him here in a tease in a big bounce-back spot. Carolina’s trio of horrible quarterbacks hopefully led by Cam Newton are just not going to be able to keep up with the angry GOAT. Bucs should roll.
