A season full of bad cornerback play for the Minnesota Vikings has just gotten worse. Bashaud Breeland, whose performance has been generally poor this season, has been officially cut by the Minnesota Vikings following an altercation with coaches at practice.

The details from the initial report are brutal but not totally shocking given the cornerbacks maturity issues. Despite his poor play, Breeland was still better, in the coaches eyes, than the other options at CB. As the Vikings enter the playoff push part of their season, this is bad news from both a depth and distraction standpoint.
