The Aaron Rodgers COVID situation brought opinions from every corner of the media landscape. It was no longer just sports personalities. Anyone who could get in front of a microphone or computer screen felt compelled to expel their thoughts on the quarterbacks behavior around his vaccine status.
Now, just as the storm had started to pass, President Joe Biden has entered the arena.
Wednesday while visiting tornado-ravaged Kentucky, Biden took some time to speak with two women. One of the women had on a Green Bay Packers stocking cap and told the president they were Packers fans . After a brief and kind conversation, one of the women said something that was not clear on the video to which Biden responded, “Did you really? God love you. Tell that quarterback he’s gotta get the vaccine,” which drew laughter.
In today’s political landscape, with all the divisiveness that has gone into COVID, I’m sure everyone is going to be super chill about Biden’s comment.
