Although it’s not the news that you may be waiting for, we have news out of Green Bay. Keisean Nixon, the breakout star of the 2022 Packers, has resigned a one-year 6 million dollar deal with the Packers.

Although potentially low on many people’s radar, the signing is key to Green Bay’s transition out of the Rodgers era. Nixon proved to not only be explosive as a special teamer, but he also has the potential to work his way into some offensive sets as a unique weapon despite his original position of defensive back.

As everyone sits and waits for the quarterback to make a decision, the first move of Green Bay’s offseason is a win. And if their return in the Rodgers trade is heavy, it could be the start of a really great offseason.
