Just when we thought we’d seen it all in the Aaron Rodgers saga, Sauce Gardner said “hold my beer.”
The Jets superstar cornerback hasn’t been shy about his desire to bring in the Green Bay Hall of Fame quarterback. This morning, after weeks of being outspoken about the possibility, Gardner took things to a new level with his own pitch video on YouTube. The video even included Gardner burning the famed Cheesehead he donned after beating the Packers at Lambeau.
Has all of this gotten ridiculous? Absolutely. Is it even close to the Favre circus? Absolutely not. But as rumors and speculation fly it’s far more fun to watch a Sauce Gardner pitch video then it is to listen to Talking Heads scream their guesses on TV.
