I’m nothing if not stubborn, and definitely stubbornly loyal to this Wolves team. That has me stubbornly sticking with Julius Randle, and expecting a big bounce back after his awful Game 2 performance. Books even did us a favor by lowering his total by a point, thinking the run has come to an end for him. I don’t believe it, not yet anyway, and I trust him to get back to his usual postseason ways in front of the home crowd.

Role players play better at home in the playoffs, that’s just a proven fact. The role players for Minnesota couldn’t have played much worse down in OKC, or shot much worse from deep. With hope for positive regression hitting the team’s shooting in general, hopefully these ancillary players can splash multiple three’s and cash a couple plus-juice returns in the process.

I’m going back to the well with these teams after they combined for 11 runs last night. Arguably far worse starting pitchers take the mound for this one, and two of the three best over teams in baseball should capitalize on the opportunity. The biggest gas can here is Cal Quantrill starting for the Marlins, who has been awful on the road with a 7.36 ERA, and gets hammered by righty bats which comprise almost the entire Angels roster.
LA is scoring like crazy right now, so they should rough up Quantrill, and they’ll need it to keep this winning streak going. Jose Soriano has been a big problem at home with a 5.95 ERA, 1.99 WHIP, and .333 on-base average allowed. The Angels relievers are also pure over fuel as they have the highest bullpen ERA in baseball, so these teams should have an easy time getting over what is a very low total given the situation.
