The Blue Jays getting Bieber to add to their rotation has been a big boost, as they’ve won 5 of his 7 starts. But this is going to be a tough spot for him against a desperate Yankees team returning home, and he might allow plenty of damage tonight. All I’m asking for is the Yankees to rack up enough hits to clear this total which I think has the juice backwards, so the price point is very attractive. New York is middle of the pack in batting average against righties like Bieber, but lead the league in OPS, wOBA, and wRC so I like their chances to collect plenty of hits in this do-or-die spot.

What a start by Vladdy Junior who is the runaway MVP of this series so far. The Toronto first baseman had three hits including a home run in both games to start the ALDS, so there’s no reason for him to stop now. Certainly not when tonight he faces the Yankees starter that he has enjoyed the most success against. Vladdy owns Carlos Rodon, racking up a .588 average and 1.608 OPS in 17 at-bats, with 4 extra base hits included, so at this juicy return I’m definitely willing to back him for another big night.
