BREAKING: Lynx Beat Sparks 85-76, Win Fourth WNBA Championship in Seven Years

For the fourth time in six seasons, the Minnesota Lynx are WNBA champions, as they held off a late run from the Los Angeles Sparks, ultimately winning 85-76 in Game 5.

The Lynx had control of the majority of each quarter, but a series late-quarter runs from Los Angeles kept the game close through the first 3.5 quarters. Ultimately, it was a group effort – big shots from Maya Moore, Rebekkah Brunson, Seimone Augustus and Sylvia Fowles – that helped the Lynx hold their lead.

The Lynx now WNBA have titles in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017.

Stay tuned, we’ll have more from the Lynx players and coaches.
