RUMORS: Timberwolves Among Teams Interested In DeAndre Jordan

The Timberwolves are among four teams reportedly interested in trading for Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, according to The Racine Journal’s Gery Woelfel.

According to Woelfel, the Raptors, Bucks, and Wizards are also interested.

With the Clippers seemingly out of playoff contention, and pending free agency this summer, rumors surrounding Jordan’s possible end in Los Angeles began in late November.

It’s not clear what the Wolves would give up in a potential trade for Jordan,  but would likely have to include one of Taj Gibson, Gorgui Dieng, or Jeff Teague to make the contracts work. The extent of the interest is also not clear, as a player of Jordan’s caliber is going to draw varying amounts of interest from the overwhelming majority of teams.

Jordan was an All-Star in 2017, made the All-NBA First Team in 2016, the All-NBA Third Team in 2015 and 2017, and the All-Defensive First Team in 2015 and 2016.
