Lynx Sign Veteran Guard Tanisha Wright

While the Minnesota Lynx have as much veteran leadership and championship pedigree as anyone in the league, they decided to go out and get some more.

The team signed 12-year WNBA veteran Tanisha Wright to a contract on Tuesday, with terms of the deal not yet disclosed.

Wright won the WNBA title with the Seattle Storm in 2010 and played there for the overwhelming majority of her career. She’s in the top 20 all-time in a variety of historical categories, including assists and steals.

It’s unclear what her role will be with the team going forward, but her experience and history of winning should blend well with the roster Cheryl Reeve already has assembled for 2018.
