Twins Announce 2019 Schedule

The Minnesota Twins announced their 2019 schedule — the 59th season in club history. Here are some of the things to hone in on, as well as a copy of the schedule — courtesy of the team:

  • Due to scheduling around the Final Four in Minneapolis, the Twins will open their home schedule early — on March 28 against the Cleveland Indians. That will be followed by a 10-game road trip to Kansas City, Philadelphia and New York.
  • The Twins will play the NL East slate of Interleague games, with the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals coming to town and the Philadelphia Phillies, Mets and Miami Marlins on the road schedule. They also have their usual matchups with the Milwaukee Brewers.
  • Perhaps the biggest takeaway is that Monday-Thursday weeknight games during the school year — April, May and September — will start at 6:40 p.m. instead of 7:10.
  • Season tickets are now available on the team site, or by calling 612.375.7454.
