While plenty of options are available for the Minnesota Timberwolves, the odds of them making a deal by Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline don’t seem high.
Still, head coach and President of Basketball Operations Tom Thibodeau didn’t dismiss the idea when talking to the media at Wednesday morning’s shootaround in Cleveland.
“We’ll see,” he said. “If there’s something there that could make us better, we’ll take a look at it.”
This is a fairly typical answer from teams at this point of the season, especially when the deadline reports start hitting.
The Wolves have been linked to names like Tyreke Evans, while names like Gorgui Dieng, Shabazz Muhammad and Jamal Crawford have been mentioned as possible outgoing pieces.
