There’s a wild move going on with the full game side for this one, as the Phoenix Suns have steamed all the way up to a 16 point favorite after opening at 11. After the OKC G-Leaguers were massacred by 57 last night, a line move like that is not a shock.
While I’m fairly confident Phoenix could cover the full number here, I can’t lay that many points. Conversely, I can’t take points with this Oklahoma City Thunder team and respect myself in the morning. With the Suns on a road trip against fairly weak competition, I’d expect them to try to find plenty of rest for their starters, so isolating them when they’re giving a full effort is key.
I’m looking at the season series between these two and seeing Phoenix winning the first quarters by 15 and 30 points. With the Thunder in full tank mode and the Phoenix starters on limited minutes, give me the Suns to open up another wide margin early.
