Let’s run this one back after a fun ending got us over this total yesterday. With Vladimir Guerrero Jr. now on a 16-game hitting streak, Toronto should continue to produce offensively much like they did in the late innings last night. Anyone that reads my articles also knows I have zero faith in Dylan Bundy, and he will most likely struggle to contain a Blue Jays lineup that has been hot lately.
But I’m counting on the Twins to get theirs at the plate as well, much like they did last night, this time facing a guy making his first appearance of the year. Mitch White has had a promising start to his career, but he will have a tough assignment today knocking off the rust. Lastly, these two teams are averaging 13 runs per game when they play each other, so 9 feels like a discount I can’t pass up. My biggest fear about this game is the weather on a cooler day in Minneapolis with rain in the forecast, but I’m still rolling with the over.
