NFL (1 Unit) Browns @ Patriots -2 (-110): 12 PM CT on CBS

If there is one team that I trust to be well coached and ready for this Cleveland Browns rushing attack, it’s the New England Patriots. Mac Jones has only gotten better as the season has gone on so far, and the Browns are simply inconsistent. This one really comes down to home field advantage and coaching for me, and I just don’t see Cleveland coming out of Foxborough with a win.

NFL (1 Unit) Saints @ Titans -3 (-110): 12 PM CT on CBS

After the past couple of weeks of unpredictable NFL slates I wanted to keep it a little more simple this week. The Tennessee Titans have their starting quarterback and are at home. The New Orleans Saints don’t have their starter, although Trevor Siemian is a capable backup. But I’m not taking him with money on the line. As long as the ghost of Adrian Peterson can give the Titans any running game at all they should be able to handle business against a banged up Saints team. Look for the Titans to stay atop the AFC standings with a win.

NFL (1 Unit) Seahawks @ Packers -3 (-110): 2:25 PM CT on Fox

I’m expecting Aaron Rodgers to play angry and focused today against a Seattle Seahawks team that hasn’t been able to put it all together all year. Although Russell Wilson is expected to play, I still like the Green Bay Packers at home with a short spread. Rodgers hasn’t been able to practice all week because he was on the COVID list. But it shouldn’t take him long to get back into the flow of things, especially in comparison to Wilson, who hasn’t played in over a month.

NFL (1 Unit) Raiders/Chiefs Over 53 (-110): 7:20 PM CT on NBC

The last two times Derek Carr and Patrick Mahomes have squared off the totals have reached 66 and 72 respectively. I’m very aware that the Chiefs offense hasn’t been the same this year so far, but I also know their defense has also been horrible. And what better way to get back on track than against a depleted Las Vegas Raiders secondary? I tried making my case for the Chiefs on my podcast, but I was ripped apart for it, so I’m just sticking to the over. I can see this game easily being played in the 30’s so sit back and enjoy the show to end the week, you deserve it.
