NFL (1 Unit) 4 Team Parlay; Titans ML, Chargers ML, Broncos ML, Packers ML (+105):
This might be my dumbest pick of the month, but I’m going to call it the “fade the dumpster fires parlay.”
- Urban Meyer literally called his assistant coaches losers so the Tennessee Titans should be able to keep them where they belong, as losers.
- The New York Giants are starting Mike Glennon (or Jake Fromm) against Justin Herbert… enough said.
- The Denver Broncos get the Detroit Lions at home where they are one of the best home teams in the NFL. They have beaten up on the bottom feeders of the league, and I expect that to continue here on an emotional day after the tragic passing of Demaryius Thomas.
- And finally, the Green Bay Packers aren’t going to lose at Lambeau to a Chicago Bears team that doesn’t scare me at all. Aaron Rodgers has owned this team for over a decade, and that’s not going to change on prime time tonight.
NFL (1 Unit) Atlanta Falcons -2.5 @ Carolina Panthers (-110): 12 PM CT on Fox
Whether it’s Cam Newton, P.J. Walker, Sam Darnold, or some guy I’ve never heard of, I truly don’t care. The Panthers have a horrible selection of quarterbacks, and I’m going to fade Cam Newton every chance I get. The Falcons are by no means a juggernaut but they’ll be able to get it done on the road against a very disappointing Carolina team. Hopefully, Cam Newton didn’t wear his rare winning hat today, but I’ll take my chances.
NFL (1 Unit) Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers -11 (-110): 7:20 PM CT on NBC
Lambeau in December is just not a fun place to play. Justin Fields is back but I don’t know how much that really helps the Bears. Not only is Aaron Rodgers rolling right now, but they’ve also discovered an even greater running game with AJ Dillon dominating in Aaron Jones’ absence. As Davonte Adams said, the Packers are ready to run the table, and it starts here with a landslide victory against a Chicago team that knows its season is over.
NFL (1 Unit) Bucs/Bills Over 54 (-110): 3:25 PM CT on CBS
Perfect Tampa weather and no Tre’Davious White? Sounds like a lot of points to me. The Buffalo Bills rushing defense also ranks towards the bottom of the league adding to the points that will be scored in this game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are averaging over 31 PPG and the Bills defense is banged up and missing important pieces as I mentioned before. As long as Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Cole Beasley can get their offense on track In the slightest, this game should have no problem getting into the 60’s. I also like the Bucs but it feels too easy (possibly a trap) so I’m sticking to the over in this one.
